Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr, MBE, is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr together her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, began their career with the band as The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr is an Irish artist, singer and actor from Ireland. Her most well-known role is The lead singer in the Celtic-folk and pop rock group The Corrs. A multi-instrumentalist and lead singer of The Corrs, she also serves as their leader. Andrea began her career acting in 1991. Later, she became an actor and musician. She performed as a playback singer for the 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Six studio albums, two compilation albums and two live albums as well as a remix album under her belt, Andrea is well-known as a multifaceted artist. In addition, Andrea was awarded awards for her humanitarian work. Andrea is a mother of two along with her partner in stock brokerage. Andrea began her music lessons through learning how to play the tin whistle. Gerry was her instructor when she began to learn piano. Andrea is also a Ukulele player. The teenage years were spent honing her skills. She worked alongside her sisters and brothers to become the singer for the group. Andrea went to the 'Dun Lughaidh Convent' and often was a part of school productions.
